Improve YouTube! (previously known as "ImprovedTube") is by far in
my opinion the best extension to manage YouTube. There are many functions to
select for better customization of your YouTube experience.
There are many adblockers available however most of them block almost all ads
or may need to be configured properly that requires many steps that look very
confusing to some of us. With Improve YouTube!, only few clicks are
needed.

After installing the extension, click on its icon at the top right corner of
Google Chrome to open its customization window. Click on Player.
In Player settings, scroll down until you see Ads. There are 3
options to choose.
