Auto Translate Youtube Live Chat (No Download or Installation)

This tutorial for setting up auto translation for Youtube Live Chat is only for Chrome and Microsoft Edge, as these 2 web browsers have built in translation function, and only on laptop/desktop computer.

There is no download or installation of app or extension needed. However the translation can only translate a selected language. Also, doing this is only recommended on small channels with slow chat flow as the translation function cannot keep up at fast chat.

Go to Youtube live video and click on the 3 dots above the chat window. Click on Popout Chat to make the chat window detach and be on its own separate window. This is to allow the built in translator to only translate the chat window.

Anywhere in the chat window, right-click and select 'Translate to English' as shown in the picture below.

For Edge browser, simply follow the same steps.

Battery Alarm App For When the Battery Has Fully Charged

One must-have app in our phone is an alarm for the battery, for when whether the battery has been fully charged or has reached low on juice. A good app for this purpose that I have tried for quite some time is called Full Battery Charge Alarm which so far has been functioning well and as desired.

I am using Pixel Experience ROM, and this app is one of apps that I set to always run in the background therefore the alarm is always on. So far, this battery alarm app has been working as desired. 

Full Battery Charge Alarm is simple and easy. All that is required during setting up this app is to set alarm threshold and low battery level. Alarm will be activated when the battery reaches the set percentage of both during charging and discharging.

Watch multiple youtube videos at the same time

One common way to watch multiple youtube videos at once is by opening several youtube windows (not tab) of a web browser and rearrange them side by side across the screen without covering each other.

But what if we just want every video to be in just one place and not having 10 web browser windows opened at the same time which might consume too much CPU power or RAM.

A website called Youtube Multiplier is capable of performing this task. Playing up to 8 youtube videos in just one tab. Simply copy the URLs of the videos and paste them in the box provided, choose a layout, give the mashup a title, and lastly write the code provided before viewing. You can also then share the mashup for others to enjoy.

Youtube Live Chat with NicoNico style Flow

Live chats on Niconico flow across the screen which mean viewers won't have to move their eyes away from the video. 

One extension best for this function that I have found is called Youtube Live Chat Flow. The chat appears beautifully on the screen with colors that help to distinguish guest, member, moderator, owner and us.

This extension is very recommended also because the chat flows very smoothly without jittery. Text is also customizable to our preference such as size, appear duration, outline thickness, etc.

Disable 60fps Videos on Youtube

One reason we want to disable or remove 60fps is because of video buffering. Our internet speed is just not fast enough to stream a high framerate video,  and/or we just prefer to watch lower 30fps video.

There are several ways to disable or turn off 60fps on a Youtube video. This can be done by using a chrome extension. 

One extension that I have found to be very simple at setting this up is called h264ify. This extension is made to help smoothen Youtube experience on chrome for low-end computers which probably using too much CPU power for these computers.

Simply checking the box "Block 60ps video" and 720p videos and above will now play at lower framerate.

How to use ProPresser for Cabal Online

What I write here is the guide on how to use ProPresser for Battle Mode 3. You may want to adjust some skill settings and timing depending on the purpose of you using ProPresser. For this guide, I use it for farming alz in Chaos Infinity in one of Cabal Online Private Server.

Download ProPresser (I recommend the ones same as picture below)

IMPORTANT: Run ProPresser as administrator.

Navigate to Simple Presser by clicking Presser > Simple Presser (follow numbers shown in the picture above). You will see the green window on the right side of this picture.

Now, there are 5 empty boxes, this is where you will need to put your keyboard buttons. I will explain what those numbers and text I write in the boxes.

• z [auto target for Cabal]
• 90 [this is where I put my Aura and BM3, refer to the photo above]
• 3 [my BM3 Attack 1, refer to the photo above]
• 678 [skills for waiting for the cooldown of BM3, refer to the photo above]
•   [this is space, not empty. To loot items. Press spacebar]

I will explain the timing below.

• z for 1000ms : this just feels right to change target after doing BM3 attack 1 (1.2sec cast time)
• 3 for 100ms : performing attack as fast as possible with minimum delay between each attack
• 90 for 250ms : faster than 678
• 678 for 500ms : slower than 90 (aura and BM3), BM3 is the priority here, you want it to be activated as soon as possible.
•   for 50ms : looting as fast as possible, but this depends on your ping to the server

Adsense Website Error Message When Logging In

"We apologize for the inconvenience, but we are unable to process you request at this time. Our engineers have been notified of this problem and will work to resolve it."

If you are seeing this message, hopefully what I write here can help fix that. I had this error and thought it was the website fault at first, maybe encountering some kind of technical issues. As time went by I started to realize that it was probably my web browser causing this because it had already been more than a month.

I had tried clearing cookies and cache of this browser however that did not help. Only way to access Adsense website at the time was through my phone. While trying to figure out what was happening, something came to my mind.

"It's adsense... Adsense... Ads.. Adblocker... Could it be?"

Immediately, I disabled my adblocker and logged in to adsense. Boom! Bada bing bada boom! No more error message. 

The culprit for the error was my adblocker. It just suddenly has issues with adsense website even though it was working fine previously. Adsense has to be added to whitelist on your adblocker if you are planning to continue using it. 

 

To whitelist adsense, add url google.com. I have tried google.com/adsense, it was still showing the error message on adsense website. 

Download Nvidia Drivers with Control Panel

Looking at the reviews of Nvidia Control Panel in Microsoft Store of Windows 10, people do not seem to be happy when they have to go there and download the control panel separately instead of being included with the driver as before. 

The reason Nvidia Control Panel does not come together with the driver is because of the variant. There are 2 types of drivers; Standard and DCH.

By default when searching for nvidia drivers at nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx, you will be directed to DCH -- the ones without the control panel. 

Standard drivers are what we are looking for because it includes the control panel. 

As we can see from the picture above, 'Windows Driver Type' option is only available when doing an advanced search on the nvidia driver website.

To perform advanced search, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on 'Beta and Older Drivers' as shown in the picture below.

Make sure to choose 'Standard' for 'Windows Driver Type' to download driver with the control panel included.

Show Hijri Date (Islamic Calendar) on Windows 10

On Windows 10 there are 2 available calendar formats we can choose; Gregorian Calendar and Hijri Calendar.

Gregorian calendar is the default date format worldwide that we all familiar today meanwhile Hijri calendar is more common among Muslims or in Islamic states. 

To switch to Hijri calendar, first open "Settings" from the start menu and select "Time & Language" from the list of the settings as shown in the picture below.

On the next page, search for "Date, time, & regional formatting" located on the right side of the window.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on "Change data formats".

Lastly, select Hijri Calendar from the Calendar dropdown menu on the new page. Windows will show Hijri date upon switching. 

How to Enable Youtube Dark Mode on Android and Computer

At night or a room with low light condition makes our eyes hurt and uncomfortable when looking at the bright screen of our phone or monitor. Thankfully Youtube app and web have implemented dark mode some time ago. Even so, it is not recommended to watch something in a dark room as it may damage our eyes.

Looking at the bright screen of our phone or monitor in dark is not the same as watching a movie in the cinema. Compared to the cinema where the image is being projected from the back of the room to a projector screen, the light from a phone or monitor screen is directed towards our eyes.

Activating dark mode for youtube is quick and simple however if you still do not know how to turn the dark mode on, here is the guide.

On android, tap on your profile picture at the top right of the screen. Scroll down until you see "Settings". Tap "Settings".

In settings, go to "General", there you will find the option to enable Dark theme/mode.

On web browser of your computer, click on your profile at the top left and you can immediately see the setting for turning on the dark mode/theme.

Computer Text Looks Weird and Not Smooth

Your computer is probably showing the style of font in the picture currently. This happens when you select "Best Performance" for visual effect which disables all visual effects on your computer, or you activate Windows Classic theme.

If you want to keep this classic style of windows but want to have a clear and smooth font being displayed, follow steps below.

Open "Computer" or "My Computer" and click on "System Properties" as shown in the picture below.

On the next window, click on "Advance system settings" located on the left side.

Select "Advanced" tab and click "Settings...".

A Performance Options window will open, scroll down until you find "Smooth edges of screen fonts". Make sure the box is checked. Click Apply and Ok.

Cap FPS to Save Power (AFK Gaming)

There are times where we would need to go away-from-keyboard (AFK) in games like opening a shop, having important matters to do outside of the game, farming for valuable points that are given while being in game, or just resting for an hour but not wanting to close the game.

At these times using the full potential power of the graphics card to get high frame rate per second (FPS) may not matter and we could be AFK for the whole night because we are sleeping.

Games nowadays have in-game settings to cap or limit FPS to match the monitor's refresh rate but there are also games that do not have this option. 

Capping FPS here is going as low as 20fps, lowering power consumption as much as we can. There are 2 ways you can do. 

NVIDIA Control Panel

The newest update adds a new setting to the control panel. We can now set the maximum frame rate of a game. 

Rivatuner Statistics Server (RTSS)

I have always used RTSS to cap or limit my FPS during AFK. I prefer RTSS as it can be configured to start at boot and I leave the RTSS window open in the background. This way I can easily change the framerate in just seconds. You may also need to download MSI Afterburner.

My thoughts on High vs Low sensitivity - CSGO (advantages and disadvantages)

Low sensitivity

Pros

It easier to master compared to high sens. Horizontal crosshair movement does not go too far up and down therefore you are able to maintain the crosshair at head level much better. Technique "slicing the pie" is easier to perform and looks clean. Micro adjustments of the crosshair is easier. Good for mid-long range combat. Target tracking is more consistent.

Cons

In my experience the cons are space, speed and energy consumption. Big mouse movements can sometimes cause you to hit the side of your keyboard even after you have provided enough space for the mouse. Turning your character is slower and big flicks are harder to perform. As you would regularly do big and rapid mouse movements your hand is quicker to get tired. Also you may do a lot of mouse lifting and repositioning.

High sensitivity

Pros

Overall movement around the map is better and faster. This helps in strafing. You can turn your character and check angles quicker. Big flicks are easier to perform. Your hand does not get tired quickly. Mouse pulldown when spraying does not require you to move the whole arm. High sens on close range combat is helpful.

Cons
It takes longer time to master. Micro crosshair adjustment/movement is quite difficult. Also, overflick is easier to happen. Mostly you will be depending on flicking more than tracking.

Remove Force Tower Effect in Mission War- Cabal Online

I am playing classic cabal online on a private server, there is no setting to remove the effect of Force Towers in nation war/mission war/mwar, also I do not know if this setting is even available or implemented in the official servers.

Why you should remove this effect

For better visibility. The effects from force towers sometimes can prevent you from seeing the enemies. Also, this effect is annoying. It is even worse if there are so many force towers built around.

To remove, navigate to your cabal "EFX" folder. The path should look like this:

Cabal Online\Data\FX\EFX

(Cabal Online > Data > FX > EFX)

Inside the EFX folder, you will see a folder named "forcetower".

Move the forcetower folder to somewhere else. For me, I just create a new folder in the same location and name it anything like shown in the picture below. Then I move the forcetower folder into the new folder.

Note: You must reopen cabal to apply this change or close cabal before doing this. 

How to Delete Website Address in the Address Bar

Besides removing unwanted addresses, we want the address bar of the web browser to suggest and auto-fill or auto-complete the correct web address that we often visit when we only type the first few letters of its address, so that we do not have to type its full address. 

The websites that we often visit however sometimes get ranked lower in the auto-fill or auto-complete list therefore the browser gives a different website instead that spells the same for the first few letters of its address. 

An example of this is twitch.tv and twitter.com, where both have the same characters for the first 4 letters. 

The one that we visit more often for example is Twitch however we were given Twitter instead which we would not want to. 

To remove a website address from the top ranking in the auto-fill or auto-complete, follow steps below.

1. Type the first or few first letters of the web address
2. Highlight the web address using up/down arrow button
3. Press shift+del button to remove
