How to Delete Website Address in the Address Bar

Besides removing unwanted addresses, we want the address bar of the web browser to suggest and auto-fill or auto-complete the correct web address that we often visit when we only type the first few letters of its address, so that we do not have to type its full address. 

The websites that we often visit however sometimes get ranked lower in the auto-fill or auto-complete list therefore the browser gives a different website instead that spells the same for the first few letters of its address. 



An example of this is twitch.tv and twitter.com, where both have the same characters for the first 4 letters. 


The one that we visit more often for example is Twitch however we were given Twitter instead which we would not want to. 

To remove a website address from the top ranking in the auto-fill or auto-complete, follow steps below.
  1. Type the first or few first letters of the web address
  2. Highlight the web address using up/down arrow button
  3. Press shift+del button to remove
